Srinagar, Dec 16: Security forces on Tuesday recovered arms and ammunition from a graveyard in the Natipora area of Srinagar during a search operation linked to an ongoing terror-related investigation, officials said.
A police team, assisted by a forensic science laboratory (FSL) unit and an executive magistrate, carried out the search at the graveyard, the officials added.
The operation was conducted in connection with a case registered under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) at Bemina Police Station in 2015.
During the search, security personnel recovered one Chinese hand grenade, 10 live AK-47 rounds, about 100 grams of gunpowder and 20 posters, officials said. (Agencies)
