Srinagar: In a recent operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two drug peddlers in Srinagar and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
On Sunday, a police team conducting a check at Budgeer Kawdara crossing apprehended the suspects, who were found in possession of approximately 16 grams of charas-like substance and 210 grams of ganja-like substance.
The arrested individuals were identified as Milad Bashir Bhat, a resident of Dolipora Kawdara, and Toyab Ahmad Shekh, from Surnai Mohalla Kawdara. A case (FIR No. 53/2024) has been filed under the NDPS Act, and further investigation is underway.
