In continuation to the series of activities organized under “Nasha Mukt Bharat
Abhyian” NSS Unit of Government Degree College Thannnamandi in
collaboration with NCC & Red Ribbon Club today organized a rally on Drug
Addiction. The event was organized under the patronage of principal of the
college Prof. (Dr.) Farooq Ahmed. The Rally was flagged off by Mr. Shakeel Mir
Chairman Municipal Corporation Thannmandi along with principal and faculty
members of the college.this rally starts from college campus and culminated at
Shahdra Chowk. More than 200 Students participated in this rally. Dr. Imtiaz
Ahmed SDPO Thannamandi along with SHO Thannmandi Sh. Mohd Shoket also
accompanied the rally. All the staff members of the college participated in this
rally. The main objective of organizing this rally was to create awareness
regarding drug abuse and its ill effects in the society.
