Doda, Jul 13: A devastating accident occurred earlier today along the Thathri Gandoh road near Malikpura Batyas in Doda district. A minibus transporting passengers fell off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in two fatalities and seventeen injuries.
According to local authorities, the vehicle bearing registration number JK06B 0469 was travelling from Khaljugsar toward Doda when the accident took place at Batyas. Sadly, the fatal descent into the gorge cut short the lives of two individuals onboard. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and mobilized a rescue effort to aid the seventeen others who sustained injuries in the tragic crash.
