In this context, after the two-day-long anti-terror operation in north Kashmir’s Sopore Sub-district ended, the J&K Police has issued a stern advisory against the circulation of sensitive information related to the operation in which an Army soldier was martyred.
People should make it a point that by sharing sensitive details about such operations irresponsibly, there is always a risk to the state security, which should not be the case under any circumstance. The longing for sharing content first on social media cannot be allowed to put the security or interests of the country into jeopardy.
In the aforesaid operation against terrorists, it was reported that some individuals have circulated/ shared sensitive details without considering the ramifications of such activism.
It is therefore necessary that people should desist from such irresponsible practices compromising the security of the state.
