Srinagar, Feb 23: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday accepted the resignation of K.K. Amla as Treasurer “on his wish” and appreciated his selfless services and great contributions towards the party”.
The rank and file of the Party have commended the selfless services and great contributions of K. K. Amla, who served the Congress party in different capacities, his dedication and allegiance towards the party, were immense.
The role played by Amla in the party all along his life is really admiring and inspirational, he is a man of principles, Congress Party will never forget his sincerity and commitment, JKPCC said.
JKPCC hoped that senior Congress leader Amla will continue to guide the party with his valuable suggestions, from time to time, besides he will continue to remain as a respected senior leader of the Party, JKPCC added and wished Amla a very good health, prosperity and long life.
