Kupwara 18 January: An Army Major allegedly committed suicide at a post in Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district today.
The Army officer was on duty at a forward post in Tangdhar sector and took away his life, officials said, adding that the reason behind the extreme move is not known yet.
Meanwhile, a Police party rushed to the spot of the incident and further investigation into the matter has been taken up. (KNB)
