New Delhi, Jun 23: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Monday underscored the need to remain cognizant of evolving security threats, saying non-traditional challenges have transcended national borders and require greater global attention.
Addressing the 16th BRICS National Security Advisers’ Meeting in New Delhi, Doval said innovative disruptive technologies, increasingly camouflaged forms of terrorism and rapidly digitising cyber threats pose significant security concerns.
He said the deliberations at the meeting would focus on non-traditional security challenges and ways to strengthen cooperation in addressing emerging global threats.
Doval stressed that the changing nature of security challenges calls for coordinated efforts among BRICS member countries to effectively tackle the evolving threat landscape. (Agencies)
