Jammu, Mar 23: A mysterious blast damaged the main gate and part of a boundary wall of a house in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir early Monday, though no injuries were reported, officials said.
The explosion occurred around 2 am near the residence of former sarpanch Jai Ram Sharma in Gawala Talab village, located about 10 km from the International Border in the Ghagwal sector, they said.
According to officials, the impact of the blast uprooted the gate and a section of the wall but did not cause any casualties.
A team of forensic experts has collected samples from the site to determine the cause of the explosion.
Police have registered an FIR, while senior officers have reached the spot and further investigation is underway, officials added. (Agencies)
