JAMMU, Dec 22: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday chaired a Cabinet meeting here to review ongoing projects and discuss several key administrative and developmental matters.
Sources said the meeting focused on assessing the progress of major works being executed by different departments and clearing time-bound proposals related to governance and public welfare. Measures to expedite schemes facing delays were also deliberated.
According to official inputs, the Cabinet examined the status of projects across sectors and discussed administrative approvals required for upcoming initiatives planned in various districts of the Union Territory.
During the meeting, ministers briefed the Chief Minister on department-wise performance, challenges and progress achieved under ongoing programmes. The discussions primarily centred on improving service delivery, strengthening institutional mechanisms and ensuring timely execution of public infrastructure works. (KNT)
