Advocate among 3 arrested in Greater Kailash Robbery Case

JAMMU, Apr 3: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested three individuals, including an advocate, in connection with the armed robbery at Anand Jewellers in the Greater Kailash area. The advocate is believed to be the mastermind behind the heist and is reportedly associated with a political party.

The robbery occurred in February when armed assailants stormed the jewellery store, looting 1.5 kg of gold and Rs 35,000 in cash. The criminals held the woman owner hostage at knifepoint while her son, Sanam Anand, was away at a bank. The incident sparked protests in the area due to rising security concerns.

After conducting a thorough investigation, police managed to track down the suspects and arrest them from the Bishnah area. Authorities continue to investigate the case, with further arrests anticipated as the investigation progresses.
