Sadguru Madhuparamhans delivers sermons to devotees at Rakhbandhu

Jammu Tawi: On the occasion of Kabir Sahib’s Antardhyan Diwas, Sadguru Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj delivered an inspiring discourse, emphasizing the true meaning of devotion. Speaking to a captivated congregation, Sadguru Ji explained that while many devotees practice devotion, few truly understand its essence. He described devotion as freedom from worldly attachments, or “Bhaag,” which manifests in countless struggles, from historical wars to natural instincts like animals fighting over mating.

Sadguru Ji further elaborated on Kabir Sahib’s unique transcendence over material existence, stating that Kabir did not have a physical body tied to Maya. Instead, his disappearance remains a divine mystery, making his “disappearance day” unique compared to the death days of other saints. Kabir’s teachings, according to Sadguru Ji, go beyond conventional religious rituals and call for deep spiritual realization.

Recalling the words of Garibdas Ji and Dadu Dayal Ji, Sadguru Ji highlighted their comparison of Kabir to an ocean, in contrast to other saints who are described as wells or rivers. These profound statements stress Kabir’s boundless wisdom and eternal presence. A notable anecdote was shared by Dadu Dayal Ji, who recalled an old man’s testimony about witnessing Kabir Sahib’s divine presence, emphasizing Kabir’s extraordinary spiritual impact.

In his conclusion, Sadguru Ji affirmed that devotion, in its truest form, stems from good deeds performed by ancestors or through divine grace. He encouraged the congregation to recognize the value in all forms of devotion while ultimately striving for spiritual awakening beyond material concerns.
