Veer Bal Diwas: PM Modi emphasizes role of youth in nation’s progress

New Delhi, Dec 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the “critical” role of youth in India’s progress and stressed the need for a futuristic approach to equip them with skills in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

Speaking at an event on Veer Bal Diwas, Modi emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid technological advancements. He pointed out that the world has shifted from machines to machine learning, with AI taking center stage. “It is essential to make our youth future-ready to tackle these challenges,” he said, underscoring the government’s commitment to youth-centric policies and supporting young talent.

Modi also remembered the bravery of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons, the Sahibzadas, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. He commemorated their unparalleled sacrifice, noting that more than 300 years ago, they chose courage and faith over submission to the Mughal Empire’s oppression. “The Sahibzadas, despite their tender age, displayed unmatched bravery and sacrificed their lives for the nation’s cause,” he said. Modi urged young people to draw inspiration from their legacy of courage and selflessness.
