    GHSS Paloura renamed after martyr NK Raghubir Singh Manhas

    Jammu Tawi:  The Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura, was officially renamed today in honor of the brave martyr, NK Raghubir Singh Manhas, marking a historic tribute to his sacrifice and courage. The renaming ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North, and the wife of the martyr, Smt. Kamlesh Devi. The event, which was a poignant reminder of Manhas Ji’s dedication to the nation, featured a cultural program and a presentation highlighting his life and service. The ceremony served to inspire future generations, with the school now bearing the name of a true patriot who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.

    In his address, MLA Sham Lal Sharma praised the Jammu and Kashmir administration for honoring the martyr’s legacy and emphasized the importance of instilling values of patriotism and service in the youth. He further urged young people to draw inspiration from the sacrifices made by soldiers like Manhas Ji and to dedicate themselves to serving the nation.

    Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Rajya Sabha MP, expressed pride in the renaming of the school, acknowledging the importance of keeping the memory of martyrs alive. The Director of School Education, Ashok Sharma, also lauded the initiative, stating that the renaming of the school would foster a sense of pride and patriotism among students. He highlighted the need to educate young minds about the sacrifices of soldiers who safeguard the nation’s freedom.
