    The renowned actor Anupam Kher has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Mumbai Police for their prompt action in arresting the thieves who ransacked his office in Mumbai. In less than two days, the police were able to trace and detain the culprits, recovering the stolen items as well.

    According Kher's social media post, thieves had broken into his Veera Desai Road office on June 19 night, stealing the entire office safe containing Rs. 4.15 lakhs in cash. They also made off with the original film negative of his 2005 release ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nai Mara'. The incident was captured on CCTV and Kher had immediately filed a police complaint regarding the burglary.

    Impressed by the police's swift response time, Kher praised their amazing efficiency in solving the case within 48 hours. He stated that the thieves could be seen fleeing the scene in an auto rickshaw, a clue which undoubtedly helped the investigators apprehend the suspects. The actor also shared of the apprehended thieves as well as the team of officials responsible for cracking the case.

    The police later shared details of how technical surveillance and old-fashioned detective work led them to trace the thieves within a single day of the complaint being lodged. All stolen items including the movie reel and cash vault were recovered.

    Kher's heartfelt appreciation post highlights the important role played by our law enforcement in ensuring justice is served swiftly. Citizens can rest assured knowing that even celebrity homes receive prompt response in times of distress.
