“Opposition Leaders Fear Nuclear-Armed Pakistan, Says PM Modi”

Date:

New Delhi, May 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed opposition politicians for expressing apprehension over Pakistan's nuclear capabilities at an election rally in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Without naming the Conference leader in question, Modi said the United Progressive Alliance appears uneasy regarding Pakistan's atomic weapons stockpile.

Modi's remarks come after comments were made doubting Pakistan's resolve in the face of 's strength. The PM retorted that if Pakistan is unwilling to disarm, India will encourage them to pursue more peaceful hobbies.

However, Modi warned the people must scrutinize parties expressing sympathy for Pakistan on terrorism. Some allies of the opposition reportedly want to deactivate India's nuclear arsenal, raising security concerns.

Earlier in Hajipur, Modi highlighted how the ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE recovered over Rs. 2,200 crores since the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power nationally, compared to just Rs. 35 lakhs under the prior government. While opponents lament these raids, Modi asserted the money belongs to poorer citizens.

The PM distinguished himself from dynastic leaders focused on nepotism, saying ordinary Indians are his true heirs. Modi referenced improved infrastructure and commitments to social justice and empowerment versus opposition obstructionism, especially concerning women's rights.

Paying tribute to late leader Ram Vilas Paswan in his constituency, Modi urged electing his son Chirag with an even bigger mandate to continue the NDA's progress. As phase four of voting ended, he appealed to the public to turn out in large numbers and strengthen the ruling coalition.
