Apple’s foldable plans have been pushed back again, with a launch now rumored for early 2027 instead of late 2026.
Rivals like Samsung have already released multiple generations of foldable phones but Apple has stayed tight-lipped, aside from a few patent filings that hint at their ambitions. And now, it seems we’ll have to wait even longer for Apple’s take on the foldable form factor.
According to a recent report from Korean outlet AlphaBiz, Apple has once again delayed their foldable device, pushing it from a planned Q4 2026 launch to Q1 2027. Apparently, an unnamed “senior official” at Apple let that little detail slip. The reported reason is good old Apple perfectionism – the company is still struggling to solve the crease issue that plagues current foldable displays.
