After Punjab win, AAP to aim for J&K

    Date:

Tawi, Mar 10: After landslide win in assembly election, Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Jammu and unit celebrated the victory at its Jammu headquarters.

Local leaders and workers assembled in the party's office and distributed sweets and danced to the tune of (‘Dhol').

The AAP leaders claimed that Punjab victory will boost their prospects in Jammu and Kashmir so that they can make the mark in the assembly election.

AAP's Convener Om Parkash Khajuria said they will focus on Jammu and Kashmir now and the party will become a deciding factor in the election.

He said that AAP has emerged as a main contender for the BJP in the face of Congress's debacle in assembly elections of five states.

Expressing full faith in the leadership of AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal, he vowed to carry forward his mission in every nook and corner of J&K.

He said their party focuses on development of the society irrespective of caste, creed and color.

At the same event, AAP leaders said that the BJP Government's unreasonable and irrational policies have led to the steep price hike and its impact on households is extremely worrisome.
