    J&K reports two deaths, 136 fresh cases

    Jammu and Friday reported two deaths and 136 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,448.

    With two more deaths – one each from Kashmir and Jammu Division,  the death toll in the UT has reached 4,510 and 136 fresh positive cases reported on Friday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 339,540.

    The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,448 including 1,083 from Kashmir division and 365 from Jammu division.

    With 125 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 333,582 which is 98.25 percent of the total cases.

    “Cases tested positive in J&K include 54 from Srinagar, 10 from Baramulla, 07 from Budgam, 02 from Pulwama, 04 from Kupwara, 04 from Anantnag, 04 from Bandipora, 11 from Ganderbal, 00 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 40 from Jammu division include  18 from Jammu, 06 from Udhampur, 03 from Rajouri, 06 from Doda, 05 from Kathua, 01 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
