Jammu Tawi, Aug 05: As the cases of Covid-19 are steadily decreasing with each passing day, most of the Covid-19 designated hospitals in Jammu don’t even have a single positive patient admitted.
As per the details available with us, out of 28 Covid designated hospitals in Kashmir, 18 have no Covid positive patient admitted.
As per the data, till August 04, just 36 Covid positive patients are admitted in 10 hospitals in Jammu, among them 23 are on isolation beds while 13 are on ICU beds.
There are 2,423 Covid designated beds available in Jammu including 2,019 isolation beds and 404 ICU and among them 1,996 isolation beds and 391 ICU beds are vacant.
Pertinently, out of around 530 active positive cases, just 36 are in hospitals while the percentage of hospitalisation is around 07 percent in Jammu division.
Notably, the bed occupancy which was almost 100 percent in the month of May has just reduced to 1.4 percent in the Jammu division.
Furthermore, active cases in the Jammu division include 113 from Jammu, 29 from Udhampur, 67 from Rajouri, 113 from Doda, 05 from Kathua, 03 from Samba, 31 from Kishtwar, 26 from Poonch, 28 from Ramban and 111 Reasi.
The active cases in J&K were over 50, 000 in May month which has now come down to around 1,300 in the erstwhile state
