    Jammu Tawi, November 28: The 76th National Cadet Corps (NCC) Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the 2 J&K Girls Battalion at Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura. The event marked a momentous occasion for the NCC, bringing together cadets, faculty, and staff to acknowledge the contributions of the corps in shaping young minds.

    The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal of GDC Paloura, Prof. (Dr.) Kulvinder Kour, along with faculty members including Prof. Vijay Chandan, Dr. Sanjay Kotwal, Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Dr. Rabia Iqbal, Prof. Vishal Magotra, Prof. Kusha Sharma, Prof. Nasar Ahmed, Prof. Vijay Kumari, Prof. Pooman Rainu, Dr. Chinmei Sharma, and Mr. Vikram Singh Jamwal.

    Principal Prof. Kulvinder Kour, in her address, acknowledged the significant contributions of both current and former NCC cadets and the personnel working in various domains. She commended the role of NCC in shaping disciplined, responsible, and motivated youth.

    The event began with a grand welcome of the Principal by the NCC cadets, showcasing their discipline, dedication, and diligence. The ceremony was further enlivened by a spectacular cultural performance by the cadets, adding to the festive spirit of the day. The cadets also shared their personal experiences, highlighting how NCC has helped shape their personalities and instilled qualities of leadership, resilience, and teamwork.

    The Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of the college, Prof. Kusha Sharma, took the opportunity to recognize the outstanding achievements of several cadets. She lauded their commitment and dedication to the NCC, and praised their contributions both in and outside the campus.

    The celebrations of NCC Day at GDC Paloura highlighted the spirit of camaraderie, discipline, and service that defines the National Cadet Corps.
