Jammu Tawi, Mar 1: Jammu Police apprehended 3 vehicle lifters and recovered 11 vehicles from their possession. Police party from Trikuta Nagar Police Station while on patrolling noticed the suspicious movement of one person near Baagar Mandi, Trikuta Nagar. He was immediately taken to P/S where he disclosed his identity as Sandeep Gupta S/0 Late Manohar Lal Gupta RIO W.No. 04, Bishnah. During sustained questioning, he confessed that he had stolen car/scooties from different localities of Jammu. On his disclosure, 01 car and 06 scooties were recovered. In this connection, FIRs have been registered at following P/S:-1. Maruti Car 800 JKO2M/7781. Case FIR no. 23/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Pacca Danga (stolen from Rehari area). 2. Honda Activa Scooty JKO2BD/2122. Case FIR no. 05/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Peer Mitha (stolen from Dalpatian Mohalla). 3. Honda Activa Scooty JK02BV/1210. Case FIR no.07/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S City (stolen from Moh. Kanji House). 4. Honda Activa Scooty JKO2BC/6564 Abandoned at Nowgran, (Bishnah Presently lying at P/S Bishnah).
5. Honda Activa white coloured Scooty (stolen from Nai Basti Gandhi Nagar). Chasis no. ME41F502GE8174283 and Engine no. 50E81170518. 6. Honda Activa Scooty silver colour (stolen from Gangyal) Chasis no. ME41C4460A8194258 and Engine no. JC44E0629696
7. Honda Activa 5G Scooty PBO2DX/6282 Case FIR no 50/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Bahu Fort (stolen from Bahu Plaza).
Similarly, 02 Juveniles were apprehended and on their disclosure 04 Scooties have been recovered which they had stolen from Narwal, Malik market, Sunjwan Morh, Bikram Chowk. In this connection, following FIRs have been registered at following P/S:-1. Honda Activa Scooty JKO2BL/2296 Case FIR no. 49/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Bahu Fort (stolen from near Wave Mall). 2. Honda Activa Scooty JKO2BQ/0861 Case FIR no. 48/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Bahu Fort (stolen from Sunjwan Morh). 3. Honda Activa Scooty JKO2BS/029 (stolen from near Masjid Malik Market).
4. Honda Activa ScootyJKO2BW/5014 Case FIR no 33/21 U/S 379 IPC P/S Gandhi Nagar (stolen from Bikram Chowk).
Sandeep Gupta is a notorious vehicle lifter and has lifted around 30 vehicles from different areas of Jammu Distt. He is Drug addict basically and lifts vehicle just to sell it off for fulfilling his urge of getting drugs.
Parents are advised to take care of their wards so that they do not fall prey to the evil designs of enemy country which is hell bent to destroy the young generation of India by pumping drugs into the country. Police team led by Insp. Deepak Pathania SHO Trikuta Nagar made the arrest/recovery under the supervision of Bikram Kumar SDPO City East Jammu and Deepak Digra SP City South Jammu.
