Srinagar: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Birdhi while addressing a press conference, here today, has confirmed that the recent TRC grenade attack case, which injured 12 civilians, has been solved. He further added that three terror associates involved in the attack, including a woman and man, have been arrested and booked under the UAPA. Pertinent to mention that the attack occurred on November 3 after which Srinagar police constituted teams to investigate the case. After thorough investigations, three individuals affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit were identified as the perpetrators. The arrested individuals are Usama Yasin Sheikh, Umar Fayaz Shiekh, and Afnan Ahmed, all residents of Ikhrajpora, Srinagar. All three have been booked under UAPA and a case against them has been lodged in police station Kothibagh.
