Pulwama, Jan 12: Security forces on Monday arrested two overground workers of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) from Pulwama district of Kashmir Division of Jammu and Kashmir UT, the police said.
A police official said the arrested persons were transporting arms and ammunition of the militants in the Awantipora and Tral areas of the district and passing sensitive information to the JeM terrorists.
The official said incriminating material, including explosives and ammunition, was recovered from the arrested duo — Shezaan Gulzar Beigh and Waseem-ul-Rehman Sheikh.
