Reasi, Nov 12: Thirteen people were injured when the wall of a house collapsed during a religious function in Siyol village, near Katra, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, officials said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Monday night while a religious gathering was underway. As the wall gave way, several people present at the event were trapped under the debris.
The injured were promptly rescued and shifted to Narayana Hospital in Katra for medical treatment. Authorities have not yet provided further details about the condition of the injured or the cause of the collapse. An investigation into the incident is underway, and additional information is awaited.
