Jammu, Jan 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Friday promoted several Section Officers as Under Secretaries in the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service-I, officials said.
The promotions were ordered through Government Order No. 73-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, following recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and the J&K Public Service Commission.
As per the order, the promoted officers have been placed in Pay Level-8 (₹47,600–1,51,100), with effect from the dates indicated against their respective names.
The officers promoted include Ramesh Kumar Bhat, Kuldeep Raj (SC), Ramesh Kumar Raina-I, Rajesh Kumar Sapolia, Salochina Koul, Pardeep Singh Samyal, Ayub Farooq Bhat, Nusrat Shah, Rajinder Kumar, Sham Lal and Ishwar Dutt.
The government clarified that these promotions will remain subject to the final outcome of any writ petitions, if pending, before the competent courts of law. (KNC)
