Community Health centre Katra, Jammu has added yet another feather in its cap by performing advanced laparoscopic inguinal surgery this time. The CHC katra was earlier in the news for grabbing Kalakalap award. This is first ever in the history of India that an advanced laparoscopic trans abdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia surgery has been performed at community health centre (CHC).
