Srinagar, Oct 12: and police claimed to have achieved a major success when a wanted stone-thrower evading arrest since 2008 was arrested in the downtown city.

Official sources here today said Sheikh Sarafraz, carrying a reward of Rs one lakh, was wanted since 2008 when there were massive protests across the Kashmir valley on Amarnath land row case.

Sheikh was arrested by the police, they said. Police has arrested 10,000 alleged stone-throwers and separatists in the Kashmir valley since July 9, a day after three Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants were killed in an encounter in Anantnag.
