Two linemen killed while repairing transformer

, Jun 27 (PTI) Two daily-wage linemen of Power Development Department were killed another suffered injuries today while repairing a transformer here, police said.

Kewal Krishen, Dev Singh and Sarjeev Singh were repairing the transformer in Bhalwal area in outskirts of Jammu and got electrocuted, a police official said.

Krishen died on the spot, while Devi Singh succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

Sarjeev Singh was injured in the incident and has been hospitalised, he added.

A case has been registered in this connection and investigation is on, the official said.
