Poonch ( Province), Sept 11: A policeman was killed, while two others, including a police Sub-Inspector and a civilian, were injured in an ongoing gunfight between security forces and militants near Army's Brigade headquarters in Poonch town of Jammu province.

The attack took place around 7.30 am on Sunday.

According to police sources, the armed militants were hiding in an old house, located about 50 meters away from the office of Superintendent of Police (SP), Poonch. The Army's Poonch Brigade headquarters is located just 300 meters away from the spot.
