Jammu, Mar 12: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday carried out raids at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district in connection with an ongoing probe into a terror conspiracy case, officials said.
The searches were conducted in Mohalla Khorinar and Hari-Surankote areas as part of the investigation into a case related to the recovery of arms and ammunition from two persons in the border district in 2024.
Officials said the recovered items included a pistol and two grenades, which were allegedly linked to a larger terror conspiracy being probed by the central agency.
The NIA had earlier filed a chargesheet in April last year against the accused — Abdul Aziz and Munawar Hussain — along with their Pakistani handler Nazir Hussain in the case. (Agencies)
