    Tawi River Front: Govt to soon decide rates for boat ride

    Jammu Tawi, Jan 30: The two day free boat ride at Tawi River Front for the people is over and now the cabinet will decide on the rates for the boat ride in the Suryaputri Tawi in the days to come, which will be a main attraction of the Tawi River Front.

    “The free boat ride has been stopped in the Tawi River Front and we will now recommend the rates for paid boar ride to the government,” a senior officer of the Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) informed the Northlines, while wishing not to be named.

    The officer said that the cabinet of the J&K Government will take the final call and decide the rates of boat ride in the Tawi River Front based on the recommendations of the JSCL.

    “Apart from the boat ride, the government will also decide the rates of the upcoming malls, resorts and other assets coming up as part of Tawi River Front on the recommendations of the JSCL,” he said.

    The 2-day free boat ride at Tawi River Front was started on 28th of this month and there was huge enthusiasm among the people to enjoy this boat ride, the first one in the City of Temples, Jammu.

    It may be mentioned that the Tawi River Front has been developed on the lines of Sabarmati River Front of Gujrat.
