Surya, Kuldeep leaving for the 19th Asian Games

Surya Bhanu Partap singh Bronze medalist in the 18th Asian Games and Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) Chief Coach of leaving today for the 19th Asian Games at Hangzhou (China) from 23rd September to 8th October 2023.

Both the Player and coach are in the National Wushu coaching camp from last one year which was being organised by Sporrs authority of India and Wushu Association of India, the major portion of the National Coaching camp

Was held at SKISC Srinagar which was immensely supported by  J&K council supported immensely.

The last phase of the camp was held at NSNIS patiala, the DG SAI Sh. Sandeep Pradhan send off the team on the concluding day of the camp.

The Wushu event will be held from 24th September to 28th September 2023, Surya Bhanu Partap singh is the lone medalist in the Asian Games so far. Wushu has so far 09 medals in the Asian Games since 2006. The other members participating in the games are

Sunil singh, Vikrant Baliyan, Suraj Yadav, Roshibina Devi, Anjul Namdeo,Rohit Yadav, Nyeman Wangsu, Suraj singh. Rajesh Kumar Tailor (Coach) Ravi Prakash Tripathi (Coach) and Ananya Mandal (Physio).

Mr. Sarmad Hafeez and Ms. Nuzhat Gul secretary sports council congratulated both the participants and wished them best of luck for the event. Both the participants are the employees of J&K Police.

The president of the Wushu Association of J&K Sh. Vijay Saraf and General secretary Ms. Bhavneet also Congratulated Kuldeep Handoo and Surya Bhanu Partap singh and wished them best of luck for the event.
