Srinagar, Dec 31: The State Investigation Agency (SIA), along with Jammu and Kashmir Police, conducted a raid in Bonpora area of Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday in connection with an Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act case, sources said.
The search was carried out at the residential house of an accused who is currently in custody in a poster-related case registered at Police Station Nowgam.
Sources said the operation was part of an ongoing investigation being conducted by the SIA in a case registered under FIR No. 03/2025 under Sections 11, 13, 18, 38 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
The raid was aimed at gathering further evidence and leads linked to the case. The search was conducted after following due legal procedures, with adequate security arrangements put in place in the area.
Officials said further investigation is underway and additional details will be shared as the probe progresses. (KNT)
