NEW DELHI, June 1: The results of JEE Advanced 2026 were announced on Sunday, with Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 by scoring 330 out of 360 marks.
Arohi Deshpande, also from the IIT Delhi zone, emerged as the top-ranked woman candidate with 280 marks. She secured the 77th rank in the Common Rank List (CRL).
According to an official release, Kabir Chhillar secured the second rank with 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar stood third with 319 marks. All three top rank holders belonged to the IIT Delhi zone.
A total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026, of whom 1,79,694 appeared in both papers conducted on May 17. As many as 56,880 candidates qualified the examination, including 10,107 female candidates.
Congratulating the successful candidates, Prof. Kamal Kishore Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee, said the achievement reflected their dedication, perseverance and academic excellence. He urged all qualified candidates to participate in the JoSAA 2026 counselling and seat-allocation process.
He, however, noted that final admission would remain subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria, including percentage-related requirements and other conditions mentioned in the JEE Advanced 2026 Information Brochure.
Candidates can access their scorecards by logging in with their Roll Number, Date of Birth and Registered Mobile Number. The scorecard contains details such as qualification status, All India Rank, subject-wise scores, total marks, category-wise rank and cutoff information. (Agencies)
