Jammu Tawi: Manish Sahni, President of Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit, demanded immediate and strict action against illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas residing in the region, during a press conference held at the party’s state central office.

Sahni expressed concern over the growing disparity between local residents and illegal immigrants, highlighting that basic utilities like electricity and water are not being properly provided to local people. He strongly criticized the administration for targeting local vendors and poor people running fruit and vegetable stalls in areas like Narwal and Gandhi Nagar, while simultaneously advocating for the provision of facilities to the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, who are illegally residing in Jammu and Kashmir.

He called for the expulsion of these illegal immigrants from the state and the country, demanding that Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha issue directives similar to those of the Delhi Lieutenant Governor to tackle the issue. Sahni also condemned those who sympathize with these groups and advocate for their support, pointing out their involvement in crimes such as theft, human trafficking, and drug trade.

On the occasion, Shiv Sena leaders General Secretary Vikas Bakshi and Senior Vice President Balwant Singh were also present.
