    Security forces bust LeT terror module, arrest two associates

    Srinagar, Nov 30: Security forces busted a terror module when they arrested two terrorist associates of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) and recovered arms from their possession in the Handwara area of Kupwara district on Thursday.

    Police said Handwara Police, along with the Army and CRPF, busted a terrorist module of the proscribed terror outfit LeT/TRF and recovered arms from Tutigund Forest on their disclosure.

    The duo have been identified as Pervaiz Ahmad Dar and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri, both residents of Tutigund Handwara.

    A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Handwara, and further investigation has been taken up.

    More arrests and recoveries are expected in the said case, the police added.
