SC Chief Justice to pay visit to J & K

Tawi, Sep 30 (PTI) The Chief Justice of (CJI) Justice T S Thakur will be arriving his native district of Ramban here on a two-day visit from October 8.

 

During his visit, he along with other dignitaries will inaugurate Justice D D Thakur Memorial Library in the district Court Complex Ramban, an official spokesman said.

 

The CJI will also participate in an inaugural function at Government Higher Secondary School Complex in Ukhral village in the district, he said.

 

Chief Justice of Jammu and High Court Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayti Raj and Law Abdul Haq Khan, Judges from Supreme Court- Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justice A M Khanwilkar, Justice S A Bobde, Justice Anil R Dave, Jammu and Kashmir High Court Judge Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and other dignitaries would accompany him during the visit.
