Sadguru Madhuparamhans delivers sermons to devotees in Akhnoor

Jammu Tawi: Sadguru Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj of Sahib Bandagi captivated the congregation in Akhnoor, Jammu, with profound insights during his discourse, highlighting the impermanence of the world and the deeper significance of the five elements. He drew attention to the fact that scientists, intellectuals, saints, and mahatmas have all acknowledged the world’s perishable nature.

Sadguru Ji elaborated on the interconnectedness of the physical elements, stating that water, fire, air, and the sky are all interdependent. “The basis of water is fire, fire originates from air, and air is a mixture of two gases,” he explained. He continued by saying that all these elements, which make up the universe, have inherent qualities such as color, taste, and movement.

“Scientists may say that water is colorless and tasteless, but I prove them wrong,” Sadguru Ji asserted. He explained that water, despite being labeled as colorless, has its own distinct taste—salty. He used examples of various substances, such as milk and buttermilk, to demonstrate how each has a unique taste that can be identified even with eyes closed. Similarly, water can be distinguished by its salty taste.

He further described the qualities of the other elements: the color of earth is yellow, its taste is sweet, and its movement is round. Air, according to Sadguru Ji, has a green color and a sour taste, with people experiencing the sour taste when they vomit due to excess gas formed during travel. The sky, he explained, is black, confirming the scientific belief that the universe is largely made up of black matter. He went on to say that only 10 percent of the universe is illuminated by the sun, with the rest remaining in darkness.

“Even in daylight, the world around us is still shrouded in darkness,” Sadguru Ji said, explaining how light only reveals part of the universe. He also mentioned how even the smallest light, such as from a mobile phone’s torch, is more effective when it is shone from above, as light originates from the heavens.

Finally, Sadguru Ji shared a profound spiritual message, stating that the land of the soul exists beyond the elements. “There are no elements in the soul’s realm,” he concluded, emphasizing the spiritual aspect that transcends the physical world.

The congregation was deeply moved by his discourse, which not only addressed scientific concepts but also delved into the deeper, metaphysical nature of existence and the soul.
