Rifle of BJP leader’s PSO snatched

SRINAGAR : Security forces have launched a massive search operation in central 's Badgam district, where some unidentified persons snatched a service rifle of a Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader's Personnal Security Officer (PSO) today, official sources said here.
They said some unidentified persons, believed to be militants entered the guard room of BJP leader Gul Mohammad Chopan, a defeated candidate, at Panzan, Chadoora, in Badgam district.
They later took away the service weapon of PSO Bashir Ahmad, sources said, adding that immediately a massive search operation was launched to nab the persons who took away the weapon. (Agencies)
