SRINAGAR, Dec 9: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches in the Mattan forest area of Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its probe into the November 10 blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, officials said.
NIA teams, assisted by police and CRPF personnel, brought two arrested accused — Dr. Adeel Rather and Jasir Bilal Wani — to the site. The duo, linked to what officials described as a “white-collar” terror module, reportedly revealed information about hideouts in the forested region.
Further details are awaited. (Agencies)
