Rajouri: Youth found hanging; One dies in accident, Missing Man’s body found

Rajouri, Nov 21: A 28-year-old man, hailing from Deoli village of Teryath Tehsil in Rajouri district was found hanging from a tree on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Akram (28), son of Sultan Mohammad resident of Deoli Teryath.

Police told that the body of the deceased was on Tuesday morning found hanging from a tree at his native village.

In another incident, the semi-decomposed body of a 75-year-old man was on Tuesday evening found from the bank of river at Sunderbani following which police have started investigation into the matter.

The deceased as per police has been identified as Kirpal Singh (75), son of Ujagar Singh resident of Rajpur Kamila in Qila Darhal Tehsil of Nowshera.

Police told that some locals spotted a semi-decomposed body lying at river bank in Thandapani area of Sunderbani after which a team of police rushed to the spot and took the body into its possession.

The elderly man had been missing for the last three weeks.

In yet another incident, a 60-year-old man from Dhanore Dindian village of Rajouri died after a car he was travelling in met with an accident near Rajouri town on Tuesday.

Police officials told that an accident took place when a car bearing registration number JK11C-8560 was on its way to Choudhary Nar from Rajouri, leaving a 60-year-old man travelling in the vehicle severely injured.

Identified as Nasir Hussain, son of Barkit Hussain of Dhanore Dindian, the injured was shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where he succumbed to his injuries. (KNO)
