People protest poor quality road, demands LG’s intervention


Sunderbani, Dec 29: Prominent people of Kangri Chokidar, Panch & Sarpanch hold a strong protest against the government of ,  PMGSY Department and the Contractors for low quality material used in the newely constructed road length of 05 kilometres at the cost of 04 crore 47 lakh rupees.

The protection walls are being filled with iron nets and not made with concrete protection walls, no drains and road made in parallel some places is 10 feet and other places 35 feet. The protestors demanded enquiry by CBI, ED, Vigilance for enquiry for this road sacm and take legal action against contractor and officers of PMGSY.

Sarpanch  Kashmir Singh and other prominent persons participated in the portest,


Protesters said huge irregularities being committed by the contractor in the construction work of the road connecting Bajora via Punne Khater Powal area approx five kilometres road works and used baseless material. Now the blacktopping is uprooted after one month completed this road.


Dozens of villagers of the village reached the construction site today and staged a protest against the government and the PMGSY department  and demanded the reconstruction of the road that used substandard construction material and order for do work again.


Protesters said if any heavy vehicle, dumper, truck etc. moves on that road, it will break immediately.  This kind of construction has taken place which is completely of low quality.
