PDP claims improving situation depends on Pakistan's role

Tawi, October 14 (KIP): Though he PDP claims that the situation will improve in also after villagers returned to the border areas in Jammu from where they had shifted to safer places owing the ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops. the scenario seems to be still difficult.

You can imagine that two militants who were killed when they

got holed up in the EDI building in Pampore were Pakistani nations and

how they reached Pampore ? This indicates that Pakistan Army continue

to assist  militants in crossing into Kashmir inspite of the fact that

after the surgical operation more than 300 militants, who had been

brought on the launch pads, were taken back to the Army camps.

The decision to carry groups of militants from the launch pads

to the Army camps was taken to prevent the Indian soldiers from

carrying out another surgical operation which could kill militants in

the first surgical operation Indian troops claimed that they killed 38


Peace in Kashmir banks on the plans of Pakistan. If Pakistan

stops aiding militants in infiltrating into Kashmir the situation

would become peaceful. But if infiltration continues it may derail

peace which hangs by a slender thread.

In this connection senior functionaries of the Army and the

BSF have decided that instead of waiting for some concessions from

Pakistan the Indian troops and the BSF should initiate novel methods

of foiling each and every ingress bid.

It requires installation of sophisticated devices including

sensors on the border so that movement of militants could be monitored

in advance and steps were taken to check any ingress plan. Secondly,

the troops, guarding the LOC, and the BSF, deployed on the IB should

carry out round the clock patrolling and remain on high alert lest
