JAMMU, Jan 10: Panic gripped Gorkha Nagar area of Jammu on Saturday after residents spotted an object suspected to be a drone lying near a nallah under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu.
According to official sources, locals immediately informed the police upon noticing the suspicious object. Acting swiftly, teams from Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu rushed to the spot and secured the area before taking the object into custody.
The seized object has been sent for detailed examination to determine its nature and origin. Police said further investigation is underway.
Authorities have urged the public to remain calm and report any suspicious objects or activities to the nearest police station. (KNC)
