The Bhartiya Janata Party High Command has finally announced the name of Dr. Mohan Yadav to be its Legislative Party leader in Madhya Pradesh after it announced the name of Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai to be the next chief minister of Chhatishgarh. Not much time has passed when the BJP was criticizing the Congress Party over Chief Minister's choice in Karnataka after winning the assembly polls claiming internal tussle was the reason behind the delay in declaring the name of new chief minister.

It is really surprising that BJP which never missed to boast about its strong internal democracy in the party is apparently facing the crisis akin to Congress because despite ensuring thumping majority in three states, the decision of naming the chief ministers remained in limbo.

Isn't it shocking for those who blindly believe that everything is smooth in BJP under the realms of PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah, as the hidden confrontation and factionalism within the party's state units have not remained secret anymore though the democracy and transparency balloons of Saffron brigade have fallen flat forcing the high command to appoint observers in the three states to resolve the ‘crisis.

For Rajasthan, Minister Rajnath Singh, Vinod Tawade and Saroj Pandey will be the observers and in Madhya Pradesh, the responsibility is given to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, K. Laxman, Asha Lakra, while Union Ministers Arjun Munda and Sarbananda Sonowal, and Dushyant Gautam were asked to oversee things in Chhattisgarh.

Although the suspense in Chhattisgarh has ended as party picked senior tribal leader and former Union minister Vishnu Deo Sai as its chief minister. The much-awaited announcement for Madhya Pradesh has just made a few moments back naming Dr. Dr Mohan Yadav while the incumbent for Rajasthan is reportedly expected only next week after the respective legislature party meetings in the two states.

The chief ministerial race within the BJP has generated a lot of buzz in the recent days amid reports that the party has decided to go for a new line of leadership in the three states as the same has been proved in two of the three states after it handpicked Sai and Yadav.

It would be really interesting to see who will be picked up to steer the Rajasthan although suspense and apprehensions must have raised the adrenaline levels of many newly elected MLAs because the party high command has kept it a complete secret contrary to what they boast of internal democracy and transparency in the party.
