    Omar leads opposition walk out in Assembly over unrest

    Tawi, Jan 03: Conference Working President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Tuesday led entire opposition to walk out of the assembly in protest against Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for skipping reply on debate over Kashmir unrest.

    As independent MLA Er Rashid was participating the debate on unrest Former Chief Minister and NC Working President Omar Abdullah woke up from his seat and informed the house that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has fled to Srinagar.

    Omar said Chief Minister flying to Srinagar when she was scheduled to reply on debate over Kashmir unrest shows her non seriousness.

    Saying that remaining in the house not to see Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti replying the debate on Kashmir unrest is mere wastage of time. As Omar led entire opposition to walk out of the assembly Er Rashid continued his speech over Kashmir unset but after entering into a heated brawl with some BJP MLAs Er Rashid was marshaled out from the assembly.
