It is for sure that Indian Railways’ Vande Bharat Trains have revolutionized the travel experience across the country as this prestigious service has become people’s first choice soon after its inception. The difference between the trains which were chugging before the arrival of Vande Bharat trains and this set of new rakes is obvious as these offer comfort, convenience and time saving with nominal increase in the fare, creating a win-win situation for the commuters, who earlier had to satiate their aspirations with whatever service was available on designated routes connecting various cities across the country.
What is praiseworthy is the fact that besides improving the Vande Bharat rakes and introducing a large number of such trains in various sections of the Indian Railways, the process of improvement has remained consistent with Indian Railways now taking another big leap by launching its first Vande Bharat sleeper train between Howrah and Guwahati (Kamakhya) from Malda Town station in north Bengal.
This train service was flagged off by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself showing the country and the world that sky’s the limit for him to tread India on the path of development. Reportedly, he also virtually flagged off the return Guwahati–Howrah Vande Bharat sleeper train.
This new version of Vande Bharat trains has been indigenously developed to meet the growing transportation needs of modern India as the fully AC Vande Bharat sleeper train has started offering passengers state of the art facilities comparable to the air travel, that too at very economical fares. Surely this has been a masterstroke by the Railways as people are bound to like this new travel experience with so much in offing. As far as the aforesaid route of this new train service is concerned, it will significantly reduce travel time by around 2.5 hours, which is a bounty for the people who want to travel fast and conveniently.
What is special about Vande Bharat trains envisaged by the Narendra Modi government is that the opposition leaders also shower praise on this initiative for it being flawless and conceived out of a farsighted approach of making India at par with the developed countries of the world. As a common commuter, it is the duty of the people to support all such forward-0moving initiatives of the dispensations by keeping the Vande Bharat trains intact, clean and service worthy as people of Delhi have responded in case of metro. This is vital for sustaining good travel experience every time people prefer to go by trains and also to improve the image of the country at global level.
