    MLA Marh distributes property cards under SVAMITVA scheme

    Jammu Tawi: In a significant move towards empowering rural residents, Surinder Kumar, MLA of Marh, distributed property cards under the SVAMITVA Scheme at the Marh Tehsil office. The initiative aims to grant property rights to rural citizens, providing them with legal recognition of land ownership and resolving long-standing disputes. During the event, Surinder Kumar highlighted the transformative impact of the SVAMITVA Scheme, stressing how it ensures legal ownership of land, thereby offering rural residents access to loans and government benefits. The MLA expressed his commitment to advancing schemes that foster transparency, empowerment, and progress in the region, thanking the collaborative efforts of the Revenue Department and local administration for their role in the scheme’s effective implementation.

    In attendance were DDC Member Balbir Lal, SDM Marh, Tehsildar Marh, and other officials from the Revenue Department, along with former Sarpanches and Panches, who witnessed the distribution process.
