Jaipur, Dec 9, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday emphasized India’s visible progress across various sectors, driven by the mantra of “Reform, Perform, and Transform,” while addressing the Rising Rajasthan Summit in Jaipur.
PM Modi expressed confidence that the world’s experts and investors are increasingly excited about India’s growth. He stressed the importance of building a large manufacturing base in India, saying, “The world needs an economy that continues to function strongly even during the biggest crisis. It should not be disrupted. For this, it is very important to have a large ‘manufacturing base’ in India.”
He also highlighted how India is benefiting from the democratisation of digital technology, which is empowering every sector and class. “India is showing the world the real power of ‘democracy, demography, and data’,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister further credited India’s youth for carrying forward the country’s ancient traditions while embracing modernity. “Our government is working on the mantra of development as well as heritage,” Modi added, noting that Rajasthan, in particular, has been reaping significant benefits from this approach.
In his speech, PM Modi acknowledged the neglect of both development and heritage by post-independence governments, which he argued had led to setbacks for Rajasthan. However, he commended the state for not only rising but also remaining reliable and adaptable to change. “Rajasthan is receptive and knows how to refine itself with time,” Modi concluded.
